World Relief Employment Opportunities

World Relief (WR), an international Christian, relief and development agency with cross-sectoral programs bridging relief and development, currently seeks the following Job Vacancies for its program in unity state and Juba.
1. Health Project coordinator
Main roles and responsibilities:
- Manage supervision of all health programming in all locations in Southern Sudan.
- Supervise the safe and efficient management of health supplies and equipment.
- Support the development of timely and accurate data collection systems, monitor data for accuracy, and provide data analysis as required.
- Assess staff training needs and make appropriate referrals for training.
- Coordinate health program development with local counterparts (SMOH, County Health Department and local leadership) with a focus on using a community development approach at all stages of program planning and implementation.
- Where required, organize, facilitate and/or provide training of health personnel.
- Maintain clear communication with all and office staff on at least a weekly basis.
- Play an active role in development of proposals, budget and project review processes.
- Promote the development of a sustainable health program by offering creative ideas and new approaches to solving problems in the health program.
- Coordinate with other World Relief programs in each field with full support for an integrated approach to community development.

Qualification required:
- Degree/Diploma in Clinical Medicine and community health or related health qualification;
- Minimum two years similar work experience in a reputable organization;
- Proven leadership, management, and inter personal skills;
- Decision making and analytical skills will be essential.
- Computer literacy especially in MS excel, MS word, Power Point, internet English and a working language of Arabic and any other South Sudanese language will be advantage.
The successful candidate will be based in Unity State and will report to the Health & Nutrition Program Manager.




2. Nutrition Project Officer

Main roles and responsibilities:
- Under the direct supervision of Nutrition Project Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, leading nutrition activities;
- Assist in identifying training needs for nutrition workers and volunteers
- Provide technical support to ensure quality nutrition services
- Monitor and evaluate nutrition activities
- Prepare timely and accurate data collection systems, monitor data for accuracy, and provide data analysis as required
- Monitor referrals lead case load, integration into existing OTP and SFP programs;
Qualifications required:
- Degree/Diploma in food and nutrition or related medical qualification
- Minimum two years work experience in a reputable organization;
- Decision making and analytical skills are essential;
- Proven leadership, management, inter personal skills;
- Computer literacy especially in MS Excel, MS word, Power point and internet English and a working language of Arabic and any other South Sudanese language would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be based Mayom, Abiemnom or Koch Unity State and will report to the Nutrition Coordinator.
3. Health capacity building officers (2)

Main roles and responsibilities:
- Provide over all leadership and technical knowhow to ensure quality health care, strengthen health systems and build capacity CHD and CBO
- Identify training needs for CHD, CBO and health care providers including volunteers
- Plan, facilitate and evaluate trainings
- Assist in health project design
- Identify training materials and curricula development
- Provide technical support to ensure quality health care services
- Monitor and evaluate health and capacity building activities
- Support the development of timely and accurate data collection systems, monitor data for accuracy, and provide data analysis as required..
Qualifications required:
- Diploma/certificate in Health or related field.
- Minimum two years relevant work experience in a reputable organization;
- Proven management and inter personal skills
- Computer literacy especially MS excel, MS word power point and internet. English and a working language of Arabic and any other South Sudanese language would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will be based at bentiu unity state and expected to travel to other project areas in unity state and will report to the Health Project Coordinator.


4. ICT Officer
Main roles and responsibilities:
- Manage the office ICT equipments maintenance
- Manage the office communication equipment and setup as per the communication procedures.
- Provide timely ICT support to all staff.
- Train World relief staff on how to organize their electronic data
- Responsible for monthly back-up of all computer files.
- Ensure WRSS office and Computers are virus free environment.
- Monitor proper utilization of the ICT equipment in accordance to the ICT policy.

Qualifications required:
- Minimum three years of practical experience in ICT
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in ICT or related field

The successful candidate will be based in Juba and expected to travel to other project areas in South Sudan and will report to the HR & Administration Manager
