Regional Manager Asia/Middle East

CAFOD, one of the UK’s leading international aid agencies, is currently looking for a Regional Manager for our programmes in the Asia/Middle East region.

We are looking for an individual with strong management skills able to lead and motivate a team of 21 staff. You should have substantial experience in the international development sector, some of which should have been gained in Asia. You will be a strong leader and manager as well as a confident strategic thinker with sound financial management skills.

The Asia/Middle East Region’s development and humanitarian support is concentrated mainly in key areas of South and South-East Asia, working in partnership with local organisations in support of programmes addressing poverty, suffering and injustice. You will play a key role in strengthening collaboration and integration across CAFOD sections/departments and building relations with donors, government representatives and other NGOs. You will be working closely with programme staff and partners in responding to continuing and emerging challenges regionally and globally.
