Total salary package: R206 982 per annum (Level 9) (Ref. F02/2011 (W/S))


Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree/diploma/certificate in Work-study plus a Job Evaluation Certificate issued by the Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) • 3-5 years’ experience in the work-study field.

Competencies required: • Broad knowledge of change management and OD • Knowledge and understanding of the new regulatory framework for the Public Service • Good understanding of the PFMA and administrative procedures • Computer literacy • Good report-writing skills • Strategic management skills • Interpersonal relations • Time management skills
• Co-ordination, planning and organising skills • Research, presentation and project management skills • Ability to interact with people at all levels • Analytical and innovative thinking skills.

Key responsibilities: • Conduct job analysis and facilitate the development of Job Descriptions/Job Profiling using the appropriate benchmarks and complying with applicable systems • Facilitate the implementation of the change management programmes related to the identified change areas and priorities within the Department • Facilitate the implementation of the organisational development system programmes • Facilitate the implementation of Batho Pele principles • Facilitate the implementation of office accommodation for the Department.
