The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education

The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) safeguards standards and improves the quality of higher education in the UK. We review and report on universities and colleges, and publish guidance for them.

Our role is increasingly important at a time when quality and standards are under the spotlight, and students rightly have high expectations of their education. Two areas of increasing significance are networks and partnerships, and research and analysis.

We are looking for two Development Officers to work in our Research, Development and Partnerships group.

One of the posts is permanent and focuses on analysis, working within the Research, Information and Enquiry area, and the other is offered as a fixed term contract or secondment until 31 August 2012 and focuses on Networks and Partnerships.

J017 - Development Officer (Networks and Partnerships) - Fixed term until 31 August 2012,full time.

For both posts you will need to be well organised and have an excellent standard of written, communication and presentation skills. A good understanding of the UK higher education sector is desirable. The posts are based at QAA's head office in Gloucester, and may involve travel within the United Kingdom.

The salary for both posts is on a range between £31,459 - £36,419 per annum.
