Creating the conditions for Scotland to achieve strong economic growth and environmental sustainability; to make the transition to a low carbon economy; and to bring leadership to the digital agenda across Scotland are pivotal in the Scottish Government’s programme to boost sustainable economic growth and employment and new models of public service provision and community empowerment.
As Director General, you will be the Government’s principal policy adviser on Enterprise & Environment issues and will provide strategic direction on economic, transport and energy policy, relationships with business through to rural, marine and environmental issues and have an overarching responsibility for the digital agenda.
