Invitation to Tender: Desk review to conduct assessment of ‘value for money’ provided through CARE International’s programmes to vulnerable and marginalised populations in Asia.

CARE International UK (CIUK) is seeking a consultant to undertake a desk-based review of ‘value for money’ provided through CARE International’s programmes. The assessment will contribute to a broader review of CARE’s impact in the Asia Pacific region during the period 2005-2010.
The consultancy will be analyse a small sample of projects implemented in the Asia Region using an adaptation of the Social Return on Investment (SROI) methodology, and should be completed by 23rd December 2011. The consultant will report to CIUK’s monitoring and evaluation manager, who will manage the consultancy in collaboration with key contacts in CARE International’s Asia Regional Management Unit and CARE Australia. The assignment is expected to require approximately 28 days work.
