Communications Services Officer - UK

The need for well-written, engaging and innovative communications is crucial for WaterAid to attract new supporters and inspire action on the global water and sanitation crisis.

As part of WaterAid’s Communications Department, you will edit and publish a range of materials for our fundraising teams, from posters to magazines. You will manage external designers most of the time, but a good working knowledge of Adobe InDesign is essential as you will be required to do regular simple design and layout jobs. You will also write content for our website and other materials.

Working with others to turn their ideas into engaging copy and visuals, you will need to know how to convince, negotiate and compromise. You will ideally have experience of managing authors, designers and printers, and your written skills will be of the highest quality.
