International Senior Manager - Fundraising and Partnerships

Capitalising on the recent launch of a new brand in July 2010 and the upcoming launch of a new 5-year global strategy (2011 – 2015), Restless Development is taking up a position as the global banner carrier for youth-led development – demonstrating at the grassroots and policy levels that young people can and must play a lead role in development.

Restless development has more than tripled the size of its budgets and programs in the past five years and is on course to continue this upwards trajectory. Key to our growth has been the success we’ve had with restricted income streams particularly with bi-lateral and multi-lateral relationships including most recently securing a strategic partnership with DFID with a Partnership Programme Agreement (PPA). We want to use this success as a stepping stone to invest in diversifying our income streams and portfolio of donors with an emphasis on increasing unrestricted, flexible and strategic funding. You will play a key role in this, leading our growth strategy and directly performance managing the International Fundraising & Partnerships team.

You will work closely with Director of Investment & Partnership to create a step change in fundraising for Restless Development, through providing strategic leadership, excellent performance management and establishing & implementing innovative new fundraising programmes to significantly increase flexible income for the organisation. You will ensure that income targets are being met and opportunities maximised.
