Programme Executive Business Ethics 50-70%
Globethics.net (www.globethics.net), the global network on ethics with more than 36’000 participants from 200 countries and with business ethics/CSR as one of its focus areas, is opening the position of Programme Executive on Business Ethics based at its international Head Office in Gene-va/Switzerland.
Major Tasks
• Management and coordination of the annual Global Ethics Forum Conference and its 12 pro-jects 2012-2013
• Development of the Global Ethics Forum Conference programme and coordination with re-source people and speakers
• Contacts with the partner organisations and companies associated with the Global Ethics Fo-rum project
• Fundraising support fundraising for the Global Ethics Forum project
• Extension and regular update of the global online Directory of Business Ethics Experts
• Support and promotion of the collections on business ethics in the global online library
• General tasks of Globethics.net
Qualifications
• University education in ethics with specialisation in business ethics/CSR, doctoral thesis (PhD) is an advantage
• Very good command of spoken and written English, good command of French or Ger-man or Spanish
• Experience in academic research and/or the private sector in the field of business eth-ics/CSR
• Experience in international multicultural cooperation and project coordination
• Interest and ease in electronic networking
• Organisational skills
• Independent and precise work
The position is a two year project position 2012-2013 and can be extended.
Location: The international Head Office is located in Geneva, Switzerland.
Starting date: 1 December 2011, or by agreement.
