Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following positions at the Moab Khotsong Mine:


Boilermaker


Applicants will need:

  • A valid Trade Test Certificate (Section 13)
  • An N3 or equivalent certificate
  • 2 years’ underground experience
  • The ability to obtain a Certificate of Fitness
  • To be prepared to work underground
  • The ability to communicate in English.

Professional Nurse (PHC)


Applicants must have:

  • A Nursing Diploma or degree
  • PHC Certificate
  • Registration with the South African Nursing Council
  • Good communication skills. A Dispensing course would be advantageous.

UNIT MANAGER (PHC)


Applicants must have:

  • A Nursing Diploma or degree
  • Diploma/degree in Administration/Health Service Management
  • Registration as a professional with the South African Nursing Council
  • At least 5 years’ experience.

ELECTRICAL FOREMAN


Applicants must have:

  • N4
  • Qualification as a Multiskilled Electrician
  • At least 5 years’ experience as an Electrician
  • At least 5 years’ HT and LT experience
  • Completed a Risk Assessment Course
  • Relevant medical criteria as per the Mine Health and Safety Act
  • Sound technical and communication skills
  • A dynamic and flexible approach. Plant experience would be advantageous.


PROFESSIONAL NURSE (ICU)


Applicants must have:

  • A Nursing Diploma or degree
  • Diploma in Intensive Care
  • Registration with the South African Nursing Council
  • Ability to take the initiative in emergencies.


The salary will be in accordance with the AngloGold Ashanti Limited Schedule of Salaries.
