Project Manager – Emergency Capacity Building Oxford
£28,390 - £34,700 gross per annum
Fixed Term - 1.5 years
36 per week
This is an unusual opportunity to become the international Project Manager of an inter-agency project, representing Oxfam's stake alongside colleagues from CARE, CRS, Mercy Corps, Save the Children and Mercy Corps.
The project aims to build the capacity of the humanitarian sector over five years, to prepare for and respond to emergencies, and spans the areas of disaster risk reduction, humanitarian response and accountability to beneficiaries.
We are at a stage in the project where the relationships have been built, collaborations defined, grants are signed, and implementation is well underway. The focus now is to deliver a range of multi-agency, multi-country projects to a high standard and to ensure maximum impact of the project across the Oxfam confederation in our high risk countries.
We are seeking a dynamic project manager who rises to a challenge and who has the vision to define inter-agency capacity building collaborations beyond the current project.
