SCAPR, the Societies' Council for the Collective Management of Performers' Rights, is the platform for the development of the practical cooperation between performers’ collective management organisations in order to improve the exchange of data and performers' rights payments across borders.

SCAPR is looking for an IT coordinator.

Job description

Reporting to the General Secretary, the IT coordinator will be responsible for:

  • The planning, execution and controlling of international IT projects;
  • The organisation and communication with multiple development and business teams;
  • The support of end-users, operational teams, and executive personnel;
  • The identification, drafting and proposal of technical solutions that meet the international business requirements;
  • The creation of technical specifications, architectural designs, maintenance models and test plans;

Start date: October 2012
Location: Brussels
Term of contract: one year contract (with possibility of extension)

Profile

The candidate will have:

  • 5 or more years of IT experience dependent upon job level in design, development and production support of applications;
  • 3 years of working experience as a project manager of IT projects;
  • Strong experience in object-oriented design, design patterns, UML modelling, ER data models;
  • Hands-on experience as developer with Java (J2EE, J2SE), C#/.NET or similar technologies;
  • Experience with networking principles and data security, network security;
  • Experience with XML and web services as data transfer technologies;
  • English and at least one out of the following languages fluently: German, French, Spanish, Swedish;
  • IT diploma or similar, at least at bachelor degree equivalent, Master equivalent desired.
