Position Summary
Purpose of the job:
The purpose of this job is to lead and implement all aspects of Business Enablement capabilities for Site Services. This capability is broadly categorized into two types. Firstly, those functions which support the running of the business and are grouped together to drive better coordination, improve standardisation and derive economies of scale and skill. They include (for example) Service Provider Management and Maintenance Planning. Secondly, those functions which through effective processes and methods improve performance improve customer experience and reduce risk within Site Services. They include (for example) Continuous Improvement, Business Performance Management and Operations Excellence.

Required outputs: Functional:
- Development of a Business Enablement & Excellence (BE) strategy in support of Site Services strategic objectives as well as SSS Business Excellence aims to direct the execution of activities in this function
- Formulate and manage BE budget. Ensure optimization of BE resources
- Entrench safety and culture and maintain SHER performance in BE
- Provide thought leadership and strategic direction and in so doing enable the best solutions to be developed for BE
- Design and implement new capabilities in line with overall Site Services readiness for change as well as targeted maturity levels
- Develop and implement the overall skills development plan for Site Services, ensuring that Site Services is positioned with the skills it requires for medium and long term
- Own and maintain the service catalogue for Site Services, ensuring it reflects a current view of the detail of services provided to customers
- Lead the execution of Operations Excellence (OE) practices across Site Services to achieve PLUSS goals
- Ensure adherence of function to all applicable legislation and Sasol policy and procedures (governance)
- Design and implement the Service Provider Management function to ensure overall performance of Service Providers is managed more effectively and that safety requirements with Service Providers are adhered to
- Ensure adherence of function to all applicable legislation and Sasol policy and procedures (governance)
- Ensure that the BE function remains relevant through achievement of benefits case targets, implementation of programmes and projects, and new business development and growth
- Maintain excellent stakeholder relationships with all functional leaders across Site Services to ensure that they in turn adopt the BE processes and practices and implement accordingly in their areas
- Provide people leadership across the BE function in line with Sasol requirements, and ensure capacity and capability requirements are in line with overall strategy

Qualifications required (Must):
- Grade 12
- B. Degree or related qualification (Engineering, Commerce, Science)
- Industrial Engineering (preferred)
