ActionAid Head of Evaluation, Accountability and Resource Mobilisation
The Head of Evaluation,
Accountability and Resource Mobilisation is one of the key staff of AA
Myanmar and as a member of the Senior Management Team will work closely
with Country Director to deliver AA Myanmar strategy and also contribute
to the international strategy delivery process. The Head IASL &
Resource Mobilisation will be primary responsible for IASL,
Communications and Resource Mobilisation units including child
sponsorship, private and institutional funding.
Desired Skills & Experience Formally, you should have a relevant Post Graduate Degree (preferably in Social Sciences), coupled with minimum 5-7 years experience in senior management level with an international development/human rights organization as well as 3 years experience of applied research, learning and evaluation and contributing to innovation. You will be able to communicate fluently in both written and spoken English.
The successful candidate should have a proven track record in fundraising from institutional donors and in managing the contractual and compliance issues involved with institutional donors. S\he should have proven experience developing and managing child sponsorship activities and must also have a track record of exceptional capacity building skills combined with strong presentation and facilitation skills. He\She will provide leadership and advice in supporting the organisation to meet its accountability, learning and planning system (ALPS) requirements at all levels, ensuring that the system remains dynamic and relevant. She/he will also have experience in managing the communications function for the organization. You will have excellent quantitative and qualitative monitoring and evaluation skills and familiarity with the range of approaches and methods currently being deployed in our sector
At a personal level, you must have a strong commitment to a human rights based approach to development; champion women's rights and value working with diverse cultures and the poor and marginalised groups.
