The opportunity
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer; the role will be residentially based in Kitimat, to provide technical expertise in one or several fields of engineering, in accordance with the norms applicable to the profession whilst working with production and maintenance groups.

What the role entails 
Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Investigating electrical or electronic failures and proposing solutions
• Participating in technical and scientific discussions in order to keep technical knowledge up to date
• Providing sustainable solutions to different contingency scenarios
• Encouraging and stimulating innovation and promoting value added growth as part of your work
• Carrying out delicate negotiations and presenting complex subjects clearly, credibly and with impact
• Working in a way that puts the safety and wellbeing of employees, stakeholders and the environment first

What you will need for this role

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• P.Eng registration (Desirable)
• 8 years or less experience in electrical engineering
• Experience working in a start-up (Advantageous)
