The role
We are currently seeking a Senior Human Resources Consultant to work closely with our other specialists in our Corporate Human Resources team. Based in Melbourne and reporting to the General Manager, Human Resources, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Provide Human Resource advice to support the optimal performance, resourcing, retention and professional development of employees
  • Provide policy and procedure strategy formulation, management, development and improvement
  • Provide advice and guidance on all areas of Human Resource practice including workforce management, remuneration and benefits and recruitment.
Suitable applicants will have:
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, preferably Human Resources
  • Thorough knowledge of the appropriate industry standards, relevant legislation and an understanding of the local market
  • Understand business requirements and make relevant recommendations
  • Demonstrated ability to write, assess, improve and implement policies , procedures and systems efficiently and effectively
  • High level communication, problem solving and analytical skills
  • High level of flexibility in handling multiple projects in conjunction with usual business requirements
  • A desire to meet or exceed client expectations
