ENCCA Dissemination Manager

ECCO - The European CanCer Organisation, a non profit making association with 21 employees, aims to bring together all the different disciplines and specialists involved in the research and treatment of cancer. Its ultimate aim is to ensure that all cancer patients across Europe receive the best possible care.

ENCCA Dissemination Manager

The European Network for Cancer in Childhood and Adolescents (ENCCA) is a major Network of Excellence in Paediatric Oncology involving a truly European consortium built through an FP7 Grant for this 4 years project. ENCCA has recently started in January 2011, its purpose is to integrate a large number of informal, investigator-driven research networks in pediatric and adolescent oncology currently active in Europe, to improve patient care and access to tailored medicines and to structure European scientific excellence in pediatric and adolescent oncology.

As the Dissemination Manager you will lead the presentation of the project to the scientific community and the general public by generating material and communicating this through the website, dissemination tools, newsletters, articles, and other material.

You have at least 5 years experience in scientific media relations and publishing, some experience with European Commission Projects and an outstanding track record in scientific communications and marketing on the European and/or International level. You are multi-task, service minded and proactive, you speak and write English at mother tongue level or equivalent, and are willing to travel (within Europe).
