Background
Oxfam’s purpose is to work with others to overcome poverty and suffering around the world and in Rwanda we focus on the promotion of sustainable livelihoods opportunities and women’s empowerment through enterprise development in agriculture. We are currently recruiting for some exciting positions within our team in Kigali as follows:

post:Evaluation and Learning Officer

Evaluation and Learning Officer (REF-RWAELO)
This is a new role supporting the Programme Manager to utilise and analyse data from our implementing partners to help evaluate the impact of Oxfam’s work in Rwanda, and to facilitate learning processes across Oxfam, its partners and other stakeholders on key issues. The role will also support the documentation of good practice to feed into programme and policy briefs, and for communications purposes.

What we are looking for
Candidates should have good qualitative and quantitative analysis skills and experience of working on monitoring and evaluation processes within an INGO context. They should have demonstrable examples of having developed documentation and communication materials. Understanding of development issues and theories of change in relation to development is highly desired. Strong networking and capacity-building skills are needed to be able to maintain partner relationships and relationships with research and other institutions to support evaluation processes.
