Colombia - Bogotá

Plan is a Colombian Foundation that has been working in the country since 1962 and its objective is to improve the living conditions of children in extreme poverty. We do not have a political, religious or governmental affiliation.

We work in places with where children and young people live in extreme poverty conditions and work in an integrated manner with communities to organize themselves and actively participate in solving their problems.

As advocates of children’s rights, we firmly believe in the capacity of children and young people, to make changes to their quality of life and this is why we try to make their voices be heard in scenarios where important political and social issues are decided.

We strengthen communities throughout community development plans in a long-term to ensure real transformation in the quality of life of the people living within the community. We work in communities located in the departments of Nariño, Cauca, Valle del Cauca, Chocó, Sucre, Bolívar and in Bogotá.
