Duration of Internship: 3 months period (possible extension for another 3 months)

Duties & Responsibilities

Under the supervision and guidance of the OGC team the Intern will be requested to:

  • Conduct legal research on various matters pertaining to both transactional and institutional matters in the law of multiple jurisdictions;
  • Assist both the lawyers and the other members of OGC in the preparation, binding, dissemination and filing of legal documents in specific transactions;
  • Assist the Office in its continuous effort of improving the flow and management of legal records;
  • Suggest and compile articles and materials for the law library of the Office.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Student of highly recognized/international Law school
  • MS Office and Internet skills
  • Foreign languages & studies outside the person’s home country are an asset
  • Demonstrable interest in international matters & public service, in addition to work and studies in banking sector.

Language skills: Written and spoken proficiency in English.

Eligibility requirements

Internship at the Black Sea Trade & Development Bank (BSTDB) is open to applicants from the member states of BSTDB, who have not already benefited from an internship at the Bank, and who:

  • are presently enrolled in a course of graduate or postgraduate level education
  • are less than twenty-six (26) years of age
  • are fluent in spoken and written English.

Additional Information

The internship provides the candidates with an insight into the BSTDB and its activities, and allows them to complement and apply learning from their studies in a practical working environment.

Internships are taking place in BSTDB’s Headquarters in Thessaloniki, Greece. Travel costs to and from the duty station, living accommodation and medical insurance coverage in Greece, are the intern’s responsibility. Interns receive from BSTDB a stipend for the period of their internship to assist with living expenses.
