Performance Investment Director

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This is a key position within the Global Marketing team and part of the Senior Management Team. It is
a high profile position with an ability to directly influence marketing investment in helping the Partnership grow its resources and become more effective in its ability to bring life in all its fullness to all the children. The position reports directly and works very closely with the Partnership Leader for Global marketing in setting the Partnership Investment direction and agenda. This includes high level discussions with all the major SOs on how to best drive global income growth and marketing effectiveness in the Partnership. The position will provide senior Marketing leadership capability to collect, analyze, review and then collaborate across the Marketing community to drive for a better understanding of Marketing Progress Discussion and the Global Market Development investment
strategy. Based on a positive collaboration with World Vision marketers the objective is to use metrics to analyze performance and provide input for improved marketing effectiveness.

This position will integrate Global Marketing Team into the wider World Vision International (WVI) planning and strategy processes. This position will need to have the ability to influence the size and direction of the Global Marketing Team Development Funding Budget through WVI. This will need to be achieved through an effective working with Support Offices to better draw them into this Global Market Development investment process.

Knowledge, Skills and Ability
10 years experience as a Marketing/Strategy Director (or equivalent) in a major or complex marketing organization

Cross cultural marketing and investment experience required
Strong analytical skills and research skills, in-depth knowledge of marketing investment theory and current industry practices.

Bachelors degree in Marketing or equivalent

Proven ability to create high-impact investment marketing, materials, and tools

2 years in World Vision and knowledge of World Vision ministries

Preferred Skill, Knowledge and Experience
Excellent communication and written skills- public speaking, presentation. Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues in a clear, understandable manner

Advanced knowledge of statistics and and love for numbers and financial projections
Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills, detailed oriented, with good follow-up skills

Has the drive, energy and influencing skills necessary to motivate constituents and their clients to actions.

Strong leadership, partnership and people management skills

A solid track record of leading and motivating a marketing team
