Project Manager- Uraki Water Line

Anticipated start date: April 1, 2011 or sooner

Anticipated project duration: 12 months


Position Description: Full-time project Manager for Uraki gravity-fed
water line, responsible for;
• Developing and executing detailed project plan
• Communicating and interacting with all relevant stakeholders
• Sourcing of materials
• Ensuring Fiscal transparency
• Accountability to the budget and timeline
• Providing bi-weekly narrative update reports to Summit4water
management team
• Providing monthly reconciliation of all receipts and expenditures

Reports to: Summit4water management and Village Executive Committee

Desired Experience:
• Previous technical/construction project management experience
• Basic accounting & record keeping
• Previous experience working with NGOs
• Familiar with the workings of the village, ward, and district
structures

Characteristics of the ideal candidate:

• No external political bias – ability to work effectively with all
parties.
