Who is TBLI?

TBLI Group™ through TBLI CONFERENCE™ and TBLI CONSULTING™ is the leading platform for sustainable investment (ESG Investment and Impact Investment)

The TBLI GROUP™ was founded around a very simple concept: Triple Bottom Line Investing, the idea that a truly sound investment is one that provides financial rewards and offers social and environmental benefits.

Based in Amsterdam, TBLI GROUP™ mobilizes capital for sustainable investment. One of its major tasks is to raise awareness in the financial sector of the benefits of sustainable investment. It assists both companies and individuals who wish to institutionalize sustainability and acts as an international knowledge broker, providing a global network for parties who share in this goal.

To draw attention to the benefits of TBLI, the company’s TBLI CONFERENCE™ division holds two annual TBLI Conferences(one in Asia and one in Europe), two-day events in which the world’s leaders on sustainability network, exchange information and ideas on the latest developments in screening, auditing, reporting, ESG, SRI analysis, corporate citizenship, indexes, and research.

TBLI GROUP™ also offers results-oriented advisory and financial networking services through its TBLI CONSULTING™ division which has, among other projects, raised capital and located strategic partners for leading cleantech private equity funds, microfinance bonds, and green mortgages.

TBLI CONSULTING™ was formed in 1999 as a response to these developments by assisting sustainable business ventures to secure private equity financing in this landscape of new opportunities. Since then, our services have evolved to assist financial institutions and business organizations in the development of financial products and services related to socially responsible investing. We also offer a comprehensive range of strategic consulting services to financial institutions, non-governmental organizations, government, corporations and new business ventures interested in developing and enhancing their triple bottom line profile. The TBLI INVESTOR SALON™ is one of the vehicles used in securing private investments. The TBLI INVESTOR SALON™ are periodic market making investor salons for high net worth and institutional investors on sustainable private equity (alternative investments) around themes like water, energy, transportation, health, etc. The salons are invitation only.

During your internship, you will report to the director, and need to be able to work independently.

Goal of internship:
Scale up the activities and impact of TBLI CONSULTING™ and the TBLI INVESTOR SALON™
Expand networks and potential clients interested in Impact Investing or ESG investment

Job Description

1) Consultant activities:

- expand relations with clients
- maintain CRM integrity
- business development for expansion of Investor Salons
- desk research
- find new sponsors for Conference and Investor Salons
- expand customer relations
- write proposals
- assist in fund raising
- develop new methods to improve efficiency of customer relations
- pursue new leads for manadates

2) Network:

- take initiative in further expanding and maintaing the present network of clients, investors, and sponsors.
- be proactive in reaching out to present network and creating new relationships

3) Carry out all other tasks required by management appropriate to the function of consultant.
