Manager Government Affairs EFPIA

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director Government Affairs in various tasks. This will include:
  • Monitor and research legislative and policy developments relevant to the pharmaceutical industry
  • Liaise with EU institutions (focus on European Parliament), industry and other stakeholders
  • Support policy groups within EFPIA in developing policy papers and outreach programs
  • Draft meeting reports, presentations and newsletters
  • Provide various services to EFPIA membership and EFPIA staff


Required Qualifications

  • Excellent understanding of EU institutions and political processes
  • 2-3 years professional experience in or with EU institutions (preferably the European Parliament)
  • Strong analytical, organisational, writing and editing skills
  • Excellent command of English (written, spoken and comprehension); additional European languages are an asset
  • Self-driven and motivated individual able to work responsibly and independently whilst being a strong team player
  • Ability to learn fast and work in a complex and dynamic international environment
