Sr Financial Management Specialist
*** This is a three years local appointment in the World Bank Country Office in Manila, Philippines ***
The Senior Financial Management Specialist (SFMS) will report to the Regional Financial Management Manager and will be part of the regional financial management team. As an experienced staff member, she/he will work with minimal supervision on complex issues and perform the full range of operational financial management work. This will include, but is not limited to: performing public financial management analytical and fiduciary diagnostic work, dialoguing with and providing technical assistance to client on public financial management reform; supporting client public financial management capacity building activities; supporting task teams on and actively participating in public financial management aspects of AAA and operations.
Additionally, the SFMS will be involved in assessing the adequacy of project financial management arrangements, supervising projects financed by the Bank; ensuring compliance with the Bank’s audit and fiduciary requirements.
Note: If the selected candidate is a current Bank Group staff member with a Regular or Open-Ended appointment, s/he will retain his/her Regular or Open-Ended appointment. All others will be offered a 3 year renewable term appointment.
