| Duties: The successful applicant will be required to teach undergraduate and graduate level courses. The candidate should be able to i) teach courses in measurement construction works and specifications, (ii) supervise student research projects and (iii) conduct and produce results of scholarly work in the discipline of Construction Management and (iv) perform administrative and other duties as assigned by the Head of department. The department reserves the right to allocate other courses in addition to those outlined above Requirements: Lecturer: The candidate should possess (i) an undergraduate degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Economics or related discipline (ii) a Masters Degree in Construction Management obtained from a recognized University and (iii) show evidence of engagement in research and service. Teaching experience at a recognized University or comparable institution will be an added advantage. Senior Lecturer: The candidate should have (i) an undergraduate degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Economics or related discipline and a Masters Degree in Construction or Project Management obtained from a recognized University, (ii) at least three (3) years teaching experience at the rank of Lecturer or higher at a recognized University or comparable institution, (iii) at least six (6) publications, four (4) of which are peer reviewed journal articles, lead and/or single author in at least 2 refereed journal articles or book chapters and (iv) demonstrate evidence of service to the university , the profession and the community Associate professor: The candidate should have (i) an undergraduate in Quantity Surveying, Building Economics or related discipline and a Masters Degree in Construction or Project Management obtained from a recognized University; (ii) at least five(5) years teaching experience at a recognized university, (iii) at least twelve (12) publications, eight (8) of which are peer reviewed journal articles, lead and/or single author in at least 6 refereed journal articles or book chapters, (iv) demonstrate evidence of academic leadership, (v) evidence of service to the university , the profession and the community, and (vi) the ability to attract funding from international sources is an added advantage.
