Technical Officer: COMDIS-HSD Project Coordinator

Malaria Consortium works with communities, government and non-government agencies, academic institutions, and local and international organisations, to ensure good evidence supports delivery of effective services, providing technical support for monitoring and evaluation of programmes and activities for evidence-based decision-making and strategic planning. The organisation works to improve not only the health of the individual, but also the capacity of national health systems, which helps relieve poverty and support improved economic prosperity.
The role of the Technical Officer is to provide project management and support to Malaria Consortium’s portfolio of COMDIS-HSD research projects and to the overall COMDIS-HSD consortium’s development and implementation. The postholder will be part of the Malaria Consortium global technical team.
The successful candidate will have:
· Postgraduate qualification in a public health related discipline.
· Experience working in public health implementation programmes and/or operational research;
· Experience in project management, including financial management, human resources and donor reporting;
· Excellent writing and presentation skills;
· Excellent communication skills;
· High level of computer skills including data analysis.
