Asia and Middle East Programme Co-ordinator

Full Time – permanent contract. Salary: £26,000 (including London Weighting)

Y Care International is looking for a dynamic and motivated person to manage a diverse portfolio of projects across Asia and Middle East aimed at addressing the needs and rights of vulnerable young people.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level; fluent in written and spoken English and have working experience in international development project management, including; direct responsibility for developing and managing projects funded by large donors such as DFID and the European Commission; have experience of working with southern-based local organisations; have good financial management skills; and be able to work well within a team environment.

The post holder will be expected to travel overseas occasionally, sometimes at short notice.

Commitment to Y Care International’s ‘Working with Children and Young People Policy’ is a requirement of employment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Criminal Records Bureau disclosure.
