About the role

As a leading force in the development and delivery of our global campaigning, you’ll have a major impact on some of our most high-profile work. It’s a fast-paced role with big expectations, as you’ll be responsible for guaranteeing we deliver on some key strategies for human rights change. Coordinating campaigning across a global movement and keeping a team of this size on schedule and within budget is a big challenge. One that’s not made any easier by the change the department is undergoing. Providing expert management support, ensuring that both our internal and external communications are cohesive and coherent, and adeptly managing diverse teams of people, you’ll guide our team through this transitional period, making them stronger and more effective than ever.

About you

People and project management are huge aspects of this role, so it’s essential that you know how to lead and develop individuals while delivering exceptional work. But beyond being a confident communicator, you’ll need a flair for developing creative solutions and a knowledge of sector-wide campaigning trends. In fact, you’ll have significant experience of campaigning at an operational level plus a solid knowledge of the human rights landscape. More than that, you’ll show solid political judgement and bring us a proven ability to take advantage of emerging campaigning opportunities.
