The Role

University of London Computer Centre (ULCC) is looking for a dynamic Development Officer. You will develop software applications to meet customer requirements for our e-learning service using Moodle.

Requirements

You will have experience of developing software applications and experience of providing service delivery. To succeed in this role, you will have in-depth knowledge of web technologies and knowledge of the LAMP environment in particular.Having the ability to work flexibly both with others and on your own initiative, you will have excellent communication skills in both technical and teaching environments.

About The Department

University of London Computer Centre (ULCC) develops and implements the IT strategy for the central University. This involves providing office applications on 1,400 PCs, operating more than 40+ servers and maintaining a high performance local network for specialist institutions across several locations. ULCC also supports over 50,000 distance learning students in association with the University of London International Programmes. Furthermore, internet access is provided to 3,500 students in the intercollegiate Halls.
