Forest Coordinator, WWF Greater Mekong

The Greater Mekong region is one of the biologically richest places on the planet; its varied natural resources support the livelihoods and well-being of millions of people in mainland Southeast Asia. WWF Greater Mekong – on the ground in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam – is working to conserve the region’s biodiversity and build a secure and sustainable future for people and wildlife.

WWF Greater Mekong (WWF GM) is seeking to recruit well-qualified and experienced candidates to fill in the position of Forest Coordinator for Greater Mekong region.

The Forest Coordinator will provide strategic leadership for the implementation of the forestry industry related conservation activities under the WWF GMPO Strategic Plan 2011-2015. In particular, she/he will provide guidance to the national managers of the GFTN operations in the Greater Mekong Countries Laos and Vietnam, and oversee the review and implementation of the GFTN-Greater Mekong regional business plan.

Base Location: Vientiane, Lao PDR

Salary range: From US$ 36,960 to US$55,464 per year (gross)
