Strategic Sourcing

Work with a structured approach to reduce total cost while building superior capabilities within the organization. Primarily shall be responsible for

- Develop & implement strategy per commodity and for the sourcing function

- Signing agreement with suppliers and follow up terms & conditions set

- Support in developing a logistic solution which give GCC a cost advantage

- Evaluating alternative sources

- Evaluating new ways of working and communication of best practices

- Alignment of costing templates with global requirements

- Business Intelligence activities to maintain competitive cost base

- Supporting GCC for sourcing requirements

- Benchmarking the region for:

o Services Costs

o Material Costs

Operational Sourcing

- Vendor management and performance follow up

Cost control

- Challenge current cost structure of sourced products

- Drive cost of sales reduction

- Propose cost efficient solutions

- Benchmark supplier and cost structure with competitors

Sourcing directives

- Secure that Ericsson directives are followed

- Implement & monitor sourcing governance model

Qualifications

Education

Economical education on University level

Experience

Some years experience from working within logistics, sales or sourcing preferably from Telecom Business. Good negotiation skills.

Competencies

Business experience/understanding (the MU and telecom business environment) incl. revenue growth

Commercial skills (business planning, contracting)

Negotiation skills & general understanding of commercial contracts (back-to-back protection etc)

Understanding of delivery process and risk management

Sales process (it's steps, tollgates and lead times etc)

Consulting / Advising

Problem solving / Conflict management

Communication, Networking, Influencing and Analytic skills

End customer focus

Good regional/local knowledge of the Ericsson organization, products and customers

Relevant language skills

Must have a passion for finding the best price for the best quality and close the deals!

Must be able to work with a high level of integrity towards Suppliers.
