About the Organization:

The Aga Khan Agency for Microfinance (AKAM) is a member of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) which is a group of development agencies, institutions, and programs established by His Highness the Aga Khan. The common goal of these agencies is to combat problems of social and economic development and to help the poor achieve a level of self-reliance sufficient to plan their own livelihoods.

In 2005, AKAM established the First Microfinance Foundation – Egypt (FMF) to alleviate poverty and generate economic growth. As a locally managed lending institution, we aim to foster entrepreneurial activity, especially among women in underprivileged neighborhoods. Our operations are governed by principles of long-term sustainability and financial discipline, in balance with the social objectives of the Foundation. FMF provides credit opportunities for income generating purposes and compliments that with a package of business development services. Clients of FMF also enjoy a death and disability insurance throughout the loan period.

About the Job:

The incumbent of the position is responsible for preparing reports and data lists for multiple departments periodically, helping the IT team in the Head Office, and supporting the branches work.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

•Prepare monthly reports for the management (Q&D report- Branch Portfolio Analysis report).
•Prepare periodical and casual reports for Operation department (Portfolio, deposit...).
•Prepare reports needed for Audit team upon request.
•Start of day and End of day, generating reports for accountant department and make backups in the Head Office.
•Do the consolidation operation in the head office.
•Database knowledge includes Database structure, SQL and administration.
•Audit and check branches data periodically, and search for mistakes and inconsistency in the data.
•Follow up the correction of data in branches and follow up BOS's (Back office Support) work.
•Support branches with information needed, and help them if necessary in troubleshooting with the system and reports.

Qualifications:

•BS in Computer Science.
•3 years’ experience in IT operations, preferably with international and/or private sector organizations.
•Good command of spoken and written English.
•Demonstrated computer and IT skills.
•Strong software and hardware computing skills.
•Ability to identify and define IT related problems and solve them in a due manner.
