The resource has to work with one of the big Telecommunication Company , 3rd parties and other IBM colleagues on the Inside-Out Programme.
This project has the aim of transforming the TelCo Company Italy Billing, CRM and Legacy systems into an Out-of-the Box solution.
For the Abstraction Layer Area, the resource will have the following responsibilities:

• Analyze as-is customer architecture
• Provide high-level design and Technical guidance for the entire phases of the project
• Provide broad design expertise for application, integration and technology solutions
• Apply best practices design processes
• Gather requirements from various stakeholders
• Analyze requirements and design solutions
• Prepare Technical design options in collaboration with other architects
• Identify application, data and infrastructure components required or impacted to implement technical solutions
• Write documentation and provide design solutions and alternatives
• Prepare estimates of effort and cost in collaboration with technology specialists for execution tasks
• Provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentoring to others in areas of acquired expertise

Additional Requirements :

• Strong understanding of ETL, data transformation and data enrichment main concepts.
• Functional knowledge on other integration technologies like EAI, BPM.
• Functional knowledge of coding languages like Java, J2EE.
• BPEL/XML experience in defining and implementing business processes in a JEE environment
• Functional knowledge of protocols as XML, CORBA, RPC, DCOM, EJB, HTTP, POJO.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, with technical and non technical resources
• Ability to work effectively as a team member, across project teams, and independently
• Ability to own and drive tasks to successful completion
• Ability to Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to complex design problems
• Ability to Prepare and deliver presentations or reports to executive leadership
• Strong writing and communication skills

Required

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 6 years experience in IT environment
• At least 4 years experience in Telecommunication Company Environment
• At least 2 years experience in Solution Architect Job
• At least 2 years experience in Business Analyst job
• At least 2 years experience in Solution design in Telco domain
• At least 2 years experience in Cross-domain and cross-business activities
• At least 2 years experience in Writing Architectural / Functional specifications
• At least 2 years experience in Enterprise Integration Architecture platform using integration technologies and methodologies such as Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
• At least 2 years experience in Defining and implementing SOA standards leveraging custom and 3rd party solutions, especially Bea/Oracle Weblogic, Oracle Service (OSB), Web Methods, Oracle Enterprise Repository
• English: Fluent
• Italian: Fluent

• At least 2 years experience in IT road map design and implementation
