We are looking for an Assistant to Unit Heads, Communications & Marketing (50%) who will be responsible in assisting the Unit Heads of the Communications & Marketing division in the day-to-day management of designated administrative duties.
Location:
WWF International office in Gland, SwitzerlandMain responsibilities:
- Assist the Unit Heads in their administrative functions, i.e. travel bookings, visas, invoice management, expense claims, meeting management;
- Coordinate logistics for relevant internal meetings and external events as necessary;
- Organise agendas, meetings and appointments for the Unit Heads;
- Translate correspondence from and into French when necessary;
- Organise travel/accommodation for Unit Heads, including negotiating fares, visas, costs, air-mile/CO² calculations and itineraries;
- Perform other administrative duties as requested by the Unit Heads.
What you need:
Required Skills and Competencies- Excellent organisation skills, ability to prioritize; attention to details;
- Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative and work independently;
- Excellent team player with good networking and interpersonal skills;
- Good awareness and sensitivity of different cultures and ability to communicate cross-culturally;
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and French;
- Excellent computer knowledge and office software, including Excel, graphs, PowerPoint, internet, intranet (Google docs/sites or equivalent), and database;
- An interest in the field of nature conservation and natural resource management;
