As part of this, the Global Compensation & Benefits team will lead the way forward in Sandvik's ambition to build a strong, level playing field for rewards, enabling us to attract and retain the talent needed to achieve our business objectives.
We are now looking for a C&B Manager in Sweden who will be responsible for a region consisting of Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark. In this position, you will have considerable influence on design and future development in this field. You will be a key figure in C&B work towards One Sandvik in Sweden. The location for this position is Sandviken or Stockholm.
Key performance areas
As Compensation and Benefits Manager, Sweden, you will lead the design and implementation of Sandvik's total compensation strategies in your region, in line with the corporate philosophy and meeting the needs of the organization and the Business Areas in an efficient manner. You will coordinate and collaborate with Group Function staff to ensure a unified and competitive total compensation strategy, and participate in defining Sandvik's worldwidetotal compensation philosophy as needed. Additionally, you will direct the analysis of local competitiveness within the market and prepare results/recommendations for senior management.
As the manager of a team, you will select, manage, and develop your team members and take responsibility for hiring, performance management, salaries, training, and termination decisions. You will also prepare and manage department budgets, resources, and expenses, and be a member of the local HR team.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a degree in HR, Finance, Law, Business Administration, or related field. You have extensive experience in the subject area and a minimum of ten years' experience from working in an HR department, of which at least five in C&B. Advanced knowledge in MS Excel is a requirement, as are excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, both written and verbal.
You are an experienced leader who enjoys inspiring and motivating your co-workers to reach set goals. You base your decisions on thorough analysis and professional judgment. Additionally, you are a problem-solver, can influence others, and build relationships. Project management skills are advantageous.
