We are looking for:
A PARTNERSHIP EXPERT
Country: Yemen – Sana’a
Length of Contract:3 months from the 1st of October
Responsibilities:Define, assess and engage ACF Yemen mission in a partnerships with identified local partners :
  • Scope and explore local partnerships – define gaps and priorities in partnerships; and formalise ACF Yemen partnership approaches
  • Identify and mobilise a local partner in North Yemen – determine partner selection criteria & method selection; undertake initial study and approach potential partners
  • Build foundations for partnerships on trust & respect, shared purpose and added impact – build confidence and manage local partners’ expectations
  • Plan partnerships actions – define roles & responsibilities for local partner(s); formalise agreements and terms of references
  • Train local ACF team on partnership approaches
Qualification and previous experience:
Master’s Degree in Development Field, you have a significant experience in strategy and partnership development and capacity building of local partners. You have also a good knowledge and competency to shape partnerships engagement locally. Also, you can understand partnerships and local dynamics to be reflected in partnership assessment and engagement. You have a superior networking capability paired with strong interpersonal skills and proven experiences of drafting MOUs. Proficient English is required. Arabic is a plus.
Status: Employee
  • Total average yearly gross income : from 44910€ to 51410€
  • Fixed-term contract, provided by ACF according to the French legislation.
  • All expenses paid on the field:
o Support to the R & R costs : 110€/month average
o Transportation costs to and from the mission : 460€/ month average,
o Collective or individual accommodation depending on position : 700€/month average
o Food and hygiene expenses (living allowance) : 285 €/month
o Per Diem : 189 €/month
  • Gross monthly salary ranging from €1805 to €2305 (13rd month included), depending on relevant experience
  • Social benefits: Medical, life and accident insurance provided by the institution
  • 25 days of annual paid leaves
  • 20 days of extra leaves per year (taken as recovery time breaks of one week every 2 or 4 months depending on the mission)
  • Pre departure training, at the HQ in Paris
