Jakarta, Indonesia – DFAT – Australian Aid funded Education Partnership (EP) Performance Oversight and Monitoring (EP-POM)
With a value of AUD 524 million over 5 years (2011 – 2016), the Education Partnership (EP) is Australia’s largest bilateral aid program to date. GRM International Pty Ltd has been appointed as the Performance Oversight and Monitoring (POM) contractor for the EP. An EP Performance Management System (PMS) has been designed to ensure Australian funds are accounted for; to assess performance with a view to improving management and implementation; to provide advice to GoA and GoI regarding strategic direction; and to assist both governments to plan effectively for future interventions.
As part of its mandate, POM coordinates and oversees the implementation of a Performance Milestone Framework (PMF). For each progression in the EP logic, a series of indicators, end-of-program targets and annual milestones are defined to enable annual assessment of progress against expectation.
We are currently looking for a Monitoring Coordinator to play an instrumental role in the successful implementation of the PMF under the guidance of the POM Operations Manager and the POM Senior M&E Specialist.
Essential Criteria:
  1. Advanced degree in economics, statistics or related fields
  2. Excellent computing skills, including the ability to:
  3. Manipulate databases and large sets of data.
  4. Present complex data in user-friendly and understandable formats.
  5. Demonstrable understanding of:
  6. Islamic and public education systems in Indonesia.
  7. The development and implementation of M&E systems in complex donor programs.
  8. Value-for-money concepts and tools.
  9. Strong English oral and writing skills
  10. Native speaker of Bahasa Indonesia
  11. Ability to work effectively within a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team
  12. Experience with DFAT (previously AusAID) programing would be well regarded.
