To extend support to our customers, as well as to our own business, we are now looking for an Application Specialist for Mineral Ground Tools who knows the importance of providing tough tools for tough jobs - someone who is equally interested in the quality of the tool as in the character of the application it’s used for. The location for this job is flexible.

Job Summary

As an Application Specialist for Mineral Ground Tools (MGT), you act in the area of applications such as Road Milling, Trenching and Tunneling and are the key technical partner and contact for both our customers and internal stakeholders. Your work is very much about being hands-on and present for “on site” technical support. You conduct testing at customers' project sites to gain experience and develop technical insights, making it possible to successfully maximize the performance of the current and future MGT offering. You actively investigate unmet customer needs and develop an understanding of their general technical challenges and you recommend new applications and technologies to support long-term growth objectives. In cooperation with current product engineering and product line management, you also provide advice on specifications and documentation for products.

This position requires extensive international travel.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with at least five years’ experience from technical support or product specialist roles, preferably in an international setting. Academic qualifications within the field of Engineering are a plus, but not a requirement, and as we act on the global stage, your communication skills in English must be excellent, both verbally and in writing. Skills in other languages are advantageous.

Business acumen, problem solving and change orientation characterize your way of working, and with your good communication skills, you easily create trust and are able to influence others.
