The Sales Manager – Ground Support Products, is responsible for driving the growth of sales and developing new business opportunities for Sandvik Ground Support (Bolting) products to the mining and construction markets throughout the APAC region. The Sales Manager – Ground Support Products, will work with each of the Sales Management teams and local Tools Sales Representatives to maximize all sales opportunities, proactively create new opportunities and achieve sales targets.
A strong focus will be on developing and managing relationships and working on business growth opportunities, beneficial to all parties.
As part of the Leadership team, this position will play a key role in the development and implementation of business development plans and providing input into strategic business growth and improvement decisions.
Key Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
  • Achieving revenue targets in designated sales region
  • Business growth
  • Active customer interaction and relationship management
  • Sales pipeline management
  • Sales budgeting, forecasting and reporting
  • Market Pricing analyses and recommendations
  • Active collaboration with Sandvik local account and sales management teams to drive the sales business opportunities.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a high level of sales experience, preferably in a management capacity together with broad knowledge in underground support equipment (Bolting). The successful candidate will also possess a solid understanding of underground mining processes. Sandvik specific experience would be a distinct advantage for this role.
