SITE COORDINATOR - LOAD & HAUL

The role
This position is inviting Expressions of Interest only at this stage. The PPH Site Coordinator will be responsible for managing Sandvik’s Contractual obligations, supporting site based equipment (Sandvik TH663) that is under a Parts Price per Hour contract (PPH). Work closely with the Customer to achieve a profitable project for both Sandvik and the Customer in accordance with the Parts Price per Hour Contract, Sandvik Safety and Environmental Guidelines, Mining Regulations and Australian Standards.
Key performance areas
  • Adhere to all policies & procedures especially the EHS policies
  • Assist in the enhancement of Maintenance Planning, ensuring optimum equipment performance at target costs.
  • Ensure that the customer is executing planned maintenance tasks to the Parts Price per Hour contract strategy and obligations.
  • Manage the Sandvik consignment stock to ensure the inventory provides the maximum amount of return with the minimal amount of risk.
  • Ensure that all Sandvik consignment stock parts usage is captured at regular intervals to ensure that parts supply is sustained on site.
  • Conduct regular cyclic stock counts.
  • Manage and escalate equipment and parts warranty claims.
  • Be the point of call for unplanned component replacements and parts supply issues that affects the contract
Your profile
The successful candidate will possess relevant Trade Qualifications or a Tertiary Qualification (Business or Project Management) as a minimum requirement. You will demonstrate a superior standard of interpersonal skills and leadership qualities which will contribute to positive teamwork.
Supervisory experience along with exposure to project management and maintenance planning systems together with knowledge and experience with Sandvik equipment is required for this role.
Due to the nature of this position, a high level of initiative, drive and determination to achieve goals and targets set for customer satisfaction and the ability to work away from home on a FIFO roster will also be required of the successful candidate. Computer
Systems Literacy is essential as is an understanding of Mine Health and Safety Regulations.
