ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER
Salary: R94 575 per annum (Level 5)

The above position exists at Verulum Justice Centre. This is a permanent position reporting to the Administration Manager. The appointee will support Legal Practitioners and JC Operations by providing an administrative support service in accordance with Legal Aid South Africa's policies, procedures and standards.

Key performance areas: * Maintain the record-keeping and filing system of the Justice Centre * Perform office administration, operate the switchboard, and carry out typing and filing duties * Maintain the Asset Register * Distribute reports and other documentation * Carry out information management/data capturing * Conduct HR and Procurement Administration * Practise sound customer relations.

Competencies (skills, knowledge and attributes) required: * A recognised Grade 12 (Standard 10) Certificate * A minimum of 12 months' relevant administrative experience * An understanding of the application of basic computer software packages * Good written and verbal communication skills * Attention to detail.
