| Responsibilities | • To lead the Environmental Consultancy team. The team carries out feasibility studies prior to environmental conversions / upgrades projects. Focus areas are solutions for compliance with regulations and overall energy efficiency improvements • To develop and maintain the Environmental Services business strategy (including new business development and marketing strategy) • To lead and/or perform business cases at the early stage of product development projects • To organize and/or visit seminar |
| Requirements | • Solid understanding of shipping / marine business (preferably including environmental regulations) • Solid technical background and good undertanding of ship design and ships's systems • Strong "can do attitude" • Genuine passion for innovation • Strong strategic thinking and capabilty to switch from "big picture" level to more detailed level • Capability of thinking as a Wärtsilä's customer (shipowner, ship-operator) • Strong presentation and communication skills • Fluent in English |
