Position description Position: Human Resources Manager
Location: Gothenburg, Sweden
Superior: Antti Berglund, Area HR Director
Responsibilities - Manage the HR function of Wärtsilä Sweden as a member of the management team
- Lead HR and administration in close cooperation with Wärtsilä Global HR network to achieve quality of service and reliable performance
- Ensure HRM administration, policies and development plans are in place and provide HR support with a proactive approach
- Provide expertise on HR processes, tools, management and planning
- Responsible for HR budgeting and following up
- Act as a trusted advisor and a coach on employment relations and people management
- Handle positively employee relations, employment legislation issues and union agreements including working closely with unions and conducting pay negotiations
- Provide learning services (planning and delivery)
- Assure and be responsible of the quality of the HR data
Requirements - Degree qualified in HR related discipline from a reputable university
- 5 years solid HR experience, preferably in a unionised and/ or international environment with experience in lead role
- Demonstrated successes in development & application of up-to-date practice in several of the following areas preferred: - Organizational design/ development, leadership and employee development - Resourcing
& recruitment - Performance management - Employee relations - Administrative processes (payroll, insurances, SAP HR, pension) - Facilitation and deployment of HR processes
- Ability to make independent decisions, be responsive and willing to take ownership of issues and drive solutions
- High energy level, driven with positive enthusiasm & a pragmatic approach
- Good interpersonal and collaboration skills willing to work closely with business leaders and unions
- Fluent English (spoken/ written), Swedish preferred
- Strong communication skills, written and oral
