Field Trial Analyst

A large entertainment company based in Johannesburg is looking for a Field Trial Analyst

Job Description

REQUIREMENTS

Relevant Technical Qualification
Minimum 2 years applicable experience
Basic knowledge of decoders & peripherals, home networking and interconnectivity
Basic understanding of consumer electronics and home networking trends
Pay TV industry, specifically MCA Broadcasting, Broadcast infrastructure and value chain
PC literacy: At least mid-level competency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

DUTIES

Execution of field trial activities as determined by the field trial strategy and field trial processes
Configuration management of engineering and customer field trial software
Key conversion and or upgrading of decoders to prepare for field trial activities
Technical investigation of issues reported by field trialists
Logging of reported field trial defects for resolution by decoder hardware and or software vendors
Executive information maintenance on field trialists, field trial decoders, home equipment setup and other peripherals
