PROGRAMME MANAGER - VANUATU
VSO is a leading international development organisation that fights poverty through people. We deliver relevant and cost effective work that promotes volunteering to fight global poverty in over 50 countries around the world.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for someone with programme management experience, ideally within the Health/HIV and AIDS sector, and with experience of managing restricted funding.
As Programme Manager, you will lead and manage the implementation and successful delivery of the HIV and AIDS programme in Vanuatu. A large portion of this programme is funded externally, focussing on support for the Ministry of Health- National HIV and STI Unit, Provincial hospitals and AIDS committees. There are also a number of activities and placements outside of this funded area, mainly working with NGOs around advocacy. Additionally, the programme is currently expanding to work in more general health areas including health information and management.
The successful candidate will have strong project and volunteer management skills. As the key point of contact for our major programme donor and partners, you will also have the ability to communicate, negotiate and represent VSO effectively and at a high level.
