Introduction on Kamworks Kamworks ltd is Cambodia's most innovative solar energy company. Kamworks aims at providing affordable solar energy products for rural people. Kamworks is specialized in the supply, installation and manufacturing of affordable solar energy solutions. Kamworks locally assembles MoonLight solar lanterns. Kamworks is currently preparing a large solar rural electrification project with Solar Home Systems (SHS). Job Summary As project manager rural electrification at Kamworks, you will be managing a large, innovative solar rural electrification project in Cambodia. In the course of this project, you will need to build, train and manage a large team of technicians to install solar systems all over Cambodia. Responsibilities Development of detailed project planning, making sure that the main project goals can be met on time and in budget, while managing the main project risks. Manage project activities, team of Kamworks staff and contractors, ensuring timely deliverables, maintain quality and controle the budget Coordinating project activities with the client, external parties, suppliers and project partners. Development of all internal project procedures Development monitoring and reporting mechanisme

Functie-eisen

Knowledge & Skills Minimum of 3 years of experience with management of large projects, preferably in a developing country Proven ability to develop a detailed project plan as well as reporting, budgeting procedures Experience with rural electrification projects and stand alone solar systems Proven ability to lead a team. Good communication in English. Knowledge of Khmer language would be an asset. Ability to establish priorities, work independently, solve problems and control quality Credentials and Experience University degree, preferably in business, social sciences or engineering Enthusiasm for the cause: solar energy for rural electrification Special Requirements: Willingness to travel in Cambodia or abroad. Ability to work under time pressure and work overtime occasionally.
