QUALIFICATIONS:
PhD in Livestock/Animal Breeding.

EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Teaching and research on animal genetics and breeding in a University environment with evidence of publications in refereed scientific journals. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in tropical livestock breeding, including the application of molecular biotechnology and bioinformatics, for livestock improvement, collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, on-farm research and on-line teaching. Demonstration of the capacity to develop key areas of research and new courses/programmes will be an asset.
