Project Manager:
• Minimum 15 years experience as a Senior Manager of large scale international donor technical assistance projects, with prior Chief of Party or project management experience on donor funded projects preferred;
• Technical expertise in areas related to road construction, infrastructure, capacity building and community development.
• experience required; Prior work experience in Mozambique is strongly preferred. Bachelor or Masters (preferred) in engineering, economics, international development or related degree
• Demonstrated proficiency and experience managing the administrative, contracting, staff recruitment, financial, and logistical aspects of an overseas field office
• Experience managing sub-grants and sub-contracts on International Projects.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills required
Site Manager:
• Minimum 10 years experience supervising and managing technical and engineering staff performing or overseeing road construction works.
• Regular travel to project sites is required with ability to assess and report ongoing and completed construction work in the field.
• Experience managing road projects and local contractors in Mozambique or other similar conflict environments preferred.
• Experience with overseas donor-funded construction projects preferred.
• Ability to prepare and edit formal written communication and directives in English.
• Ability to assess and modify construction management procedures as necessary.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field.
Site Engineer/Highway Engineer:
• Provide hands-on, daily oversight and guidance to Construction, Design, Project Controls and QA/QC functions and staff in support of Roads;
• Guide and supervise all document control activities and report daily to the Project Manager
• Provide timely response to information requests from all roads operations to ensure timely preparation and submission of data to Project Manager;
• Provide daily oversight and ensure coordination between Project Controls and other departments to assure that all project documentation is well organized and entered into CM;
• Work with local construction subcontractors in the development and implementation of plans, schedules and progress reports;
• Monitor and report road construction progress to Project Manager in coordination with Project Controls unit and others as needed;
• 10 years of experience and Bachelors/Masters Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
Structural/Drainage/Bridge Engineer
• Bachelors/Masters Degree in Engineering
• Experience in the design of new long span bridges and/or rehabilitation of major bridges
• Caltrans design, review, and approval experience
• Must have 10+ years of relevant experience
Quantity Surveyor:
• Must have 10+ years of relevant experience
• 5 years of experience working on International infrastructure projects
• 5 years of experience of quantity surveying
• Bachelors/Masters Degree in Engineering
Soil/Materials/Pavement Engineer:
• Must have 10+ years of relevant experience
• 5 years of experience working on International infrastructure projects
• 5 years of experience of working with materials and pavement testing on roads projects.
