| Duties: The successful applicant will be expected to work closely with members of staff for one year before proceeding for further studies. He/she shall also perform such duties as the Head of Department may assign to him/her from time to time. Requirements: Candidates should: (i) be citizens of Botswana aged 27 years or below (ii) possess a Bachelor’s degree in which English was studied as a major with a CGPA of at least 3.6 on a 5 point scale. The successful candidate should be prepared to do graduate work in any of the following areas: English Literature (with emphasis on Milton and Metaphysical Poetry), World Literature (Twentieth Century American Literature, The Novel in the Modern World) and Literary Theory.
